With this beautiful thought in mind, World Dance Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Presidium Gurgaon 57. Students got a wonderful opportunity to witness the captivating Bharatanatyam performance by the eminent dancer, Smt. Ragini Chandrashekhar. With her mesmerising and enthralling dance Mudras, she stole the hearts of young Presidians and made them develop a sense of respect for dance. She also enlightened them on the most diversified dance forms of our culture.
The celebration proved to be a learning experience for students as they gained an insight on the wonders and marvels of Indian culture which celebrates art in all of its forms

PRESIDIANS FROM GURGAON 57 DISCOVER HUMANITY AT SPARSH

Somebody has aptly said, ‘To be a good leader is to be a good human being first, who does good to others and the world'. With such thoughts in mind, Presidians visited Sparsh Special School.
As Presidians stepped in the premises of Sparsh Special School they were given warm welcome by the special children through their big and vibrant smiles that truly made their day.
Presidians spent some quality time with their friends from Sparsh in their class rooms, activity centre & vocational work stations. Seeing the determination and will of these children, Presidians were filled with deep respect and regard for them. Sparsh students' energy level & positive aura mesmerised our young Presidians.
The entire experience was extremely fruitful for everyone and Presidians realised that in God's world, 'Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether they make the world a beautiful garden'.

AMBASSADORS OF NATURE PLEDGE TO PRESERVE MOTHER EARTH

People from all over the world celebrate Earth day with great enthusiasm and interest on each 22nd of April since 1970 to raise awareness about saving save the natural assets of planet earth.
With this belief, Presidium Gurgaon 57 celebrated Earth Week. The environmental campaign was an awareness drive in which 150 saplings were planted. The message was to help and protect our environment and build future conservation leaders. They took a pledge to preserve and protect what Mother Earth has given us.

GAMBHIR INAUGURATES CRICKET COACHING AT PRESIDIUM, GURGAON

Presidium Gurgaon witnessed the launch of Eden Cricket Academy on 25th March ’17. The academy was inaugurated by the star cricketer of India, Gautam Gambhir who met the young players of Presidium and appreciated their zeal and passion for the game and wished them all the best for the future. The students who join the academy will be trained by Vijay Dahiya, former Indian player and Manvinder Bisla, IPL player. We hope to see Eden Cricket groom young Presidians into future cricket champions.

INCREDIBLE TRIP TO THE VIBRANT CITY OF AMRITSAR

An educational trip to Amritsar was organised for the students of grade 5. It was a 2 days and 1-night trip. The students were highly excited and enthusiastic about their visit to Amritsar. The students reached the 5-star hotel ‘Holiday Inn' and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. They were left stunned to know the brutality shown by General Dyer and how his troops fired on the crowd at the Jallianwala bag. At Wagah border, they witnessed the lowering of the flags ceremony of India and Pakistan. It is an alternatively a symbol of the two countries’ rivalry as well as brotherhood and cooperation between two nations. The fun-filled day ended with a lip-smacking dinner and a luxury stay in the hotel. The second day began with a visit to ‘The Golden Temple’ the holy gurdwara of Sikhs, where men and women from all walks of life and all the religions worship God equally. The students invoked blessings from God and enjoyed the prasad. They cherished the shopping time at the local market. It was an enlightening and amazing experience for the students.

TALENTED TITIKSHA ENTERS THE WORLD OF TELEVISION

Our talented young actor, Titiksha Anand of Grade 5, from Presidium Gurgaon, has proved her acting prowess by grabbing a role in the popular TV serials ‘Savdhaan India’ on Life Ok Channel and in ‘Aawaz Insaf Ki’ at Ahmedabad.
Titiksha has had a keen interest in arts and theatre since childhood. She has been actively participating in various talent and modelling shows with famous brands like Pink Cow and All India Fashion Kids Show. In 2014, she was presented the ‘India’s Best Jolly Kid’ award at the India Kids Fashion show, Jaipur; by the well known actress Madhuri Dixit Nene.

Our excited Presidians were welcomed by the tilak ceremony that reminds of "Padharo mahre des" hospitality of Rajasthan, the mandir, village bazaar, folk dances, animal rides for children, bioscope, village style photo studio, jyotish, mehendi, games zone, open lawns to relax and bond with each other, students relished every moment of this wonderful village theme concept.

MULTITUDE OF CREATIVITY & IMAGINATION AT FUTURE FEST'2017

Loud encores, overwhelming roars, and cheers were the demeanor of Presidium Future Fest 2017, from 21st and 22nd February at Siri Fort auditorium. The annual day celebration was graced by the presence of our honorable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. The students crafted an artistic journey of songs, dance, and theater starting with the mischief of Krishna Leela followed by the mystical dance performances and a tribute to the brave soldiers of India.
The performances unfurled like a book of adventures into the mystical world of dreams as Presidians left the audience mesmerized and enthralled. The gush of excitement at the fest was evident in the cheer and applause from the parents, teachers, and staff gathered there. A true visual delight, the musical drama left the spectators awestruck as they basked in the wondrous performances by Presidians.
