For most students in class 10th, visions of a career path are mostly restricted to childhood dreams. Ever since those early flights of fancy, very few actually give their career choice a serious thought. The choice of the stream (subject) directly affects the career. For example, one will not become a lawyer by choosing Science Stream, and similarly, one cannot become a Medical Practitioner by selecting Arts Stream. The webinar helped the students accumulate the skills and knowledge that Marks are, no doubt, a reflection of one’s capabilities, but they should not be the sole reason for choosing a stream. It is the orientation style, interest, personality, subject proficiency, and emotional intelligence that should be the essential key factors before we go for stream selection.

Healthcare professionals often risk their health and sacrifice quality of life in the line of duty - this can be witnessed during this time of Corona Pandemic. Students of grade 3E had conducted a special online assembly to show their gratitude and salute these front-line Covid -19 warriors. They presented a skit to create awareness among students, not to take this unlock period lightly, and sent messages to stay home and help healthcare workers in reducing their workload. They gave tribute to them by performing on the song- Teri Mitti. Many students acknowledged and showed obeisance to all the healthcare staff.

India celebrates its Republic Day on January 26 every year. It is that historic moment when India's Constitution came into being on January 26, 1950. A special assembly, quiz, salad decoration, visual art and performing art activity, recitation with Patriotic theme was organized in which Presidians reminisced and honored the golden heritage of our country. Teachers encouraged students to learn how our country needs educational, economic & legal reforms, and the youth has the power of bringing the perfect revolutions for nation-building. Students of grade 3E had a special online assembly, wherein they shared and presented their views on the importance of Republic day and interesting facts related to this day. They all dazzled the assembly with tri-color attires. As they say, 'patriotism is the virtue of the vicious' likewise, Presidium believes in inculcating such qualities among students to build a better nation.

Presidians got the opportunity to salute our nation's icon- a man who gave his entire life to make India a free country. Students of grade 3D presented famous quotes of Netaji. They shared a detailed note on Netaji's life, education, birth, death mystery, his work, and contribution to Indian Politics. To celebrate his birth anniversary, which is on 23rd January, students performed a dance on various patriotic songs. To bring the feel of this day, they all were dressed up as Netaji/Freedom fighters and used props/ background symbolizing patriotism.

World Hindi Day is celebrated every year on January 10. Hindi is not only the country’s most-spoken language, but it is the third most-spoken language in the world with 615 million speakers after English, Mandarin, according to the UN. To enlighten students of the importance of our official language and help them in understanding the rich lingual culture of the country, a special assembly was conducted. In the virtual assembly of grade 5E, the students were beautifully dressed in ethnic wear with their beaming faces. They gave beautiful performances like poems, sharings, and a song too. The aim of the assembly was to raise awareness about the Hindi language. Being one of the most popular languages in the world, there is a huge interest among students from across the globe to pursue a career in the Hindi language.

World Youth Parliament for Water works with young leaders across borders to implement sustainable and practical solutions to global water issues. They have been working for years with UNESCO (United Nations Education, Scientific and cultural organization), Swiss Agency for development and cooperation (SDC), UN water, Agence De Léau, Geneva Water Hub, Global water partnership, Montréal international, and Blue Peace.
