Students got an opportunity to showcase their creative skills. The students made rakhis with the material available at homes like thread, pulses, rice, beads, and ribbons. Friendship Day is celebrated around the world to celebrate the special love between friends and the strength and power of their friendship. Celebrated in India on the first Sunday of August, it is a day to reflect on the friendships that are important to us as individuals, whether they be with an old school friend, a sibling, a colleague, or even a pet. Our young Presidians organized a special virtual assembly for this day and enthusiastically shared their feelings and love for their best friends in the form of poems and songs and shared a few lines on the bond they shared with their loved ones. They also made friendship bands, cards, and crowns for their best buddies. It was indeed an enriching and mesmerizing experience for all.

GLOBAL TIGER DAY: PRESIDIANS SPREAD THE MESSAGE, SAVE TIGERS!

Tiger Tiger burning bright, we will not let you fade out of sight
That is our promise, and for you we will fight.
Tiger is our national animal, the pride of our nation. To raise awareness for Tiger conservation and to spread the message of stringent action to prevent tigers from extinction, we organized our social assembly on ‘SAVE TIGERS’ for Presidians of grade Prep. Students were all dressed up like tigers wearing masks, clothes, and makeup to show their solidarity for the cause.Teachers introduced the topic to everyone, and it was followed by prayer. This was followed by a discussion on why we should save tigers. Some students shared slogans for saving tigers. An Intra-Class Poster Making Competition for grades 4-5 was also organized, wherein the students created stimulating posters to spread the message and help create a world where tigers thrive, not just survive.

The day witnessed an unprecedented amalgamation of hard work, perseverance, determination, and victory. Amidst the scare of a global pandemic, Presidians displayed their undaunted will and passed with flying colors. Samiksha Vidyashankar has done us proud and gained recognition by procuring 98.6% and bagging the title of not only school topper but also Overall Presidium Topper. Presidium is proud of all the budding leaders who have climbed up the stairs of success already!

The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the results for Grade XII and students of Presidium have shown over- whelming performance. It is surely the culmination of the students' hard work and the regulated guidance and mettle of the teachers. Shaoni Dutta, who is from Humanities, has done us proud and gained recognition by procuring 97.4% The toppers in the three streams of the school are as follows:
1. Science Stream: Arjan Singh Sandhu with an aggregate of 93.6%
2. Commerce Stream: Tanishka Mathur with an aggregate of 94.2%
3. Humanities: Shaoni Dutta with an aggregate of 97.4%

PRESIDIANS ENJOY A DELIGHTFUL TIME AT THE OBSTACLE PARK

Keeping this view in mind, a visit to the Obstacle Park was organized for Presidians. This visit offered students a perfect opportunity to showcase their flexibility as they tried some somersaults and backflips. The free fall, spiked wheels and the bouncy bed of inflated trampoline gave wings to the children who didn’t want to miss any activity. The visit had been well-curated to make it one of the most cherished incidents in these students’ lives. The activities were full of fun, and also encouraged the students to brainstorm different strategies and techniques to move forward to complete the course. The students were served a variety of lip-smacking cuisine. The day offered a myriad of experiences to all and strengthened the bond between the teachers and the students.

It is rightly said that a child learns more by doing things instead of memorizing it. Science allows the students to learn about the things around them by doing some experiments. Performing activities help the students retain information easily. Keeping this in mind, an intriguing activity was organized for students of Grade 3 to learn the properties of water. Through this activity, they got a chance to learn with the aid of experiential learning. Concepts related to science cannot be explained to students using the rote learning method. It needs to be integrated with some fun activities so, that the students feel connected with the subject and grasp the concepts easily.
