In Presidium School, assembly is a means to nurture a lot of skills and raise the confidence level of the students. Besides these, it helps to facilitate national integration and secularism by celebrating the festivals of all the religions. The students of class 5A filled the air with festivity as they celebrated the auspicious festival of Diwali. The students led the way in spreading the message of celebrating safe and pollution-free eco-friendly Diwali through their speeches. They emphasized the urge to act responsibly and be sensitive towards the essence of animals' environment and safety. They also apprised the audience about the adverse effects of fireworks. They tried to promote the use of eco-friendly colors for making 'rangoli.'Towards the end, the students were briefed on the ill-effects of burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with candles, sweets, and non-polluting green crackers. Together they took a pledge to celebrate Diwali this year in an eco-friendly manner.

Stories play a vital role in the growth and development of students. Reading also helps students with their confidence levels, coping with feelings and language and learning. Reading at home also boosts school performance, it also increases vocabulary, raises self-esteem, builds good communication skills, and strengthens the prediction engine that is the human brain. To ensure all this, the Prep and Nursery students conducted a story reading activity, where the students read stories and shared their views with their classmates and teachers. It was a good learning activity where they learned about new characters and talked about the good things they learned through each story.

Milad-un-Nabi is a celebration to commemorate the birth of Prophet Mohammed. It is believed that Prophet Mohammed was born in Mecca on the twelfth day of Rabi-al-Awake. It is celebrated in the third month of the Islamic calendar. Prophet Mohammed showed the path of compassion, tolerance, and universal brotherhood. While leading the world on the path of humanity and equality, he preached love and empathy. Presidians shared their experiences with Eid celebrations. They celebrated the auspicious day of the birth anniversary of Mohammed Prophet by singing songs, reciting poems, performing dance, and making drawings related to the festival.

Presidians celebrated the festival of Halloween with sheer enthusiasm. The teachers, the parents, and the students everyone had conjured up a lot of creativity. The students joined in dressed as their best for the spooky Costume Party. The grand celebration saw students and teachers dressed up in various costumes to celebrate the spirit of Halloween. In the beginning, the teacher narrated the story behind Halloween. After that, the audience witnessed a grand parade of happy superheroes, fairies, witches, goblins, ghouls, and other interesting characters. It seemed as if all of them wanted to be the scariest. The students took their turn to narrate gothic stories. The teachers and the students played many games like trick and treat, truth and dare, etc. The students also sang many Halloween songs and later on, drew spooky masks. Towards the end, they also tried their hands at speaking some tricky tongue twisters. The children had a wonderful time, and parents, too, were seen smiling happily. Dussehra, also called Vijayadashmi, is the culmination of nine days of Navratri celebration. It is a festival that marks the killing of Ravan, his son Meghnath and brother Kumbhakarn, by Lord Ram. It is seen as Victory of good over Evil. Dussehra celebrates Rama's Victory over Ravan in a festival spread over ten days. In the virtual assembly of grade 4C, students celebrated Dussehra with great zeal, enthusiasm, and festivity. Students participated in the virtual celebration through various mediums like- songs, thoughts, talks, and dance performances. They also shared about the renowned poet, saint, and author ‘Tulsi Das’ who wrote the epic Ramcharitmanas.

To make children aware of the importance of the 24th day of October as United Nations Day and also to make them understand the role of the United Nations Organisation (UNO) in our day – to – day life, a special assembly was organized. During the assembly, the birth of the UN was explained by different students of the class. A student sang a part of the UN Anthem. The students explained in detail about the various agencies of the UN, namely, UNICEF, FAO, UNESCO, ILO, and WHO, followed by a student throwing some light on India’s role in the UNO. A dance performance on the song “AAO SAJDA KAREIN, AMAN KE LIYE” to fill the air with peace and harmony. Then, the students briefly explained the challenges faced and tackled by the UN every day. All the students of grade 4B participated enthusiastically and made this assembly a success.
