The students of class 5A filled the air with festivity as they celebrated the auspicious festival of Diwali. The students led the way in spreading the message of celebrating safe and pollution-free eco-friendly Diwali through their speeches. They emphasized the urge to act responsibly and be sensitive towards the essence of animals' environment and safety. They also apprised the audience about the adverse effects of fireworks. They tried to promote the use of eco-friendly colors for making 'rangoli.'Towards the end, the students were briefed on the ill-effects of burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with candles, sweets, and non-polluting green crackers. Together they took a pledge to celebrate Diwali this year in an eco-friendly manner.
