SPORTS ACTIVITY:LITTLE LEADERS PARTICIPATE IN BALL & BUCKET RACE
Studies have shown that indulging in sports helps the body build more connections between nerves, leading to increased concentration, enhanced memory, stimulated creativity, and better-developed problem solving skills. Keeping this in mind, we recently organised a fun filled sports activity for our little ones from grade Nursery. The activity included a ball & bucket race wherein they collected the ball in the bucket to finish the race. Another activity included some fun with a parachute. The toddlers had a gala time with their peers and enhanced their skills simultaneously. It was a great day of learning with fun!

‘There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.’
In an effort to emphasize the core values of experiential learning and to strengthen the knowledge of our students, an excursion to ‘Nehru Planetarium’ was organized for grade 3 students. This field visit was planned under the concept of ‘Sky’ in Theme Based Learning. One of the major attractions was the Soyuz T-10 which carried India’s first cosmonaut ‘Rakesh Sharma’ to space. His space suit on display brought great excitement among the students. They enjoyed many activities such as a 40-minute movie at ‘The Sky Theatre’, watching constellations, stars, planets, galaxies, etc. It was a very productive and enlightening trip that inspired many students to take up astronomy as a subject and learn more about the outer space!

FIRST DAY AFTER SUMMER BREAK: PRESIDIANS ENLIVEN SCHOOL CORRIDORS
Holidays and vacations always are loved by kids of all age groups. With holidays come in the elements of fun, laughter and enjoyment. But, we truly believe that students must feel that school is an extension of their homes and their peers & teachers are their extended families. We welcomed them after this long summer break with utmost love and to bring their hearts, minds and souls back to school we planned various games and activities. They entered the school gate by crossing the fun filled hoopla hopscotch. Later they made monsoon cards in class and drenched their little yet creative hands in paints. They were extremely excited and happy to join back school and meet their friends and teachers.
