VISIT TO A PARK: A FUN-FILLED EXPERIENCE IN LAP OF MOTHER NATURE
I played, I laughed, I jumped, I hoped, I learned and I grew magically in nurturing lap of Mother Nature.
Students of Grades Nursery and Prep of Presidium Gurgaon 57 recently were taken out for a nature walk to ‘The Leisure Valley Park’ to give them a break from the monotonous classroom routine. Little children appreciated the beauty and wonder of nature and delighted to experience the tender of flowers, the softness of grass and breathe in fresh air. Besides all the goodies, interesting ‘puppet show and magic show’ was organized which was a wonderful kids-captivating program rendered them asking for more. This visit to a natural surrounding offered students to create beautiful memories to cherish forever. Indeed, it was an experience that children will never forget!
SECOND PLACE IN LOTUS VALLEY CRICKET TOURNAMENT RIVETS PRESIDIANS

With the same spirit, the Under-12 Cricket Team of Presidium Gurugram recently participated and bagged the second prize in an Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organized by Lotus Valley International School. 6 teams from Delhi and NCR, which scored maximum points, were allowed to participate in this prestigious tournament. The grand win is incomplete without a special mention to our captain, who not only responsibly took charge of the team and tried to bring out the very best in them, but also switched roles between wicket keeping and bowling efficiently, giving his very best at both the roles.

To make students learn about the relevance of numbers in our daily lives, recently various interesting and fun mathematical activities is observed for Grade Prep at Presidium Gurugram. Students during these activities learned about the day-to-day importance of numbers and counting. They enhanced their ability to count, compute and use numerical relationships for their daily use. They were introduced to the significance of number system that has been created over thousands of years. Students performed various fun-filled counting activities in Math lab using ‘Jodo Gyan’ teaching and learning materials. Overall, it was an insightful and informative experience for the young learners.
OUR ACE COWBOY NIRBHAY WINS THE NATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy recently organized the Junior National Equestrian Championship and Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship. Featuring thrilling competitions of three-day dressage and cross-country race, the stupendous competition received humongous participation from brilliant young horse riders from all over India. We feel immensely proud to announce that Nirbhay Singh of grade 10 from Presidium Gurgaon won Gold Medal in this national-level championship, held at Bhopal.

CHESS MAESTROS WIN BIG AT INTER-SCHOOL CHESS TOURNAMENT
When it comes to the brain reflexes, our Presidians have unyielding critical thinking, logical and cognitive skills that are instilled in them from the very beginning of their school journey. The ‘Inter School Chess Tournament-2017’ organised by American Montessori School, MG road was testimony to this very strength of our Presidian, Harshit Ratnani of grade III, who checkmated his opponent and found his way to the top position in under-07 category, despite the participation of a massive number of students from 20-30 schools from Gurugram. Yet another undefeated champion in the same category to make it to the 2nd position was Shatakshi Dey of grade II. The concentration and dedication of these two chess maestros towards the game literally stunned everyone and they were awarded with a giant trophy. Way to go Presidians!
FAREWELL CEREMONY: BIDDING ADIEU TO THE PERTINACIOUS GRADE 12

Presidium, Gurgaon 57 bid goodbye to the outgoing students of the pertinacious batch of Grade 12 recently at the farewell ceremony with great enthusiasm. The event brought back lots of memories of students and teachers of all the years that have went by. Teachers wished them luck for the upcoming exams and for the adventures waiting ahead. It was a sentimental moment for all, as teachers braced the students to face the world with strength and wisdom.
GRAND ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE SKATING MAESTROS OF PRESIDIUM GURGAON
At Presidium, we believe in raising the generation of these extraordinary achievers. We are proud to announce that our young Presidians of Gurugram 57 recently participated in the CBSE Inter-School Skating Competition at Karnal and got selected for the National Level in Bhopal! Here are the exemplary laurels that they brought home:
* Aarav Lamba from grade 3 won Gold in the Inter-School and Bronze at National Level in 300m time trial event in under 6-8 age group boys inline (skate) category
* Nishita Shroha from grade 8 won Silver in the Inter-School in 300m time trial event in under 19 age group girls inline (skate) category
One more laurel was bagged by Presidians in the 10th District Roller Skating Championship 2017-18, organized by DRSA under RSFI, at Gurugram. More than 500 students participated in this grand competition but our talented students won several medals like:
* Niviransh Sundrani from grade prep won 2 Gold Medals in 0-6 age group boys inline (skate) category
* Aanya Lamba from grade 1 won 2 Bronze Medals in 6-8 age group girls inline (skate) category
* Lavyansh Khandodiya from grade 2 won 2 Bronze Medals in 6-8 age group boys inline (skate) category
* Aarav Lamba from grade 3 won 2 Gold Medals in 6-8 age group boys inline (skate) category
* Anisha Yadav from grade 7 won Gold Medal in 12-16 age group girls quad (skate) category

The young Presidians of Gurugram 57 are packed with such a spirit of winning and the outcomes of Inter-Presidium Basketball Championship proved this. Well-organized and hosted by our school, the much-awaited enthralling basketball competition witnessed some of the finest skills of Presidians from branches of Ashok Vihar, Indirapuram, Raj Nagar, Dwarka 16B and Dwarka 22. In the tournament, both boys and girls displayed their skills and showed some fierce competition among each other and students of Gurugram won under both the Girls, as well as Boys categories. It was truly, a victorious match!
SUDHA MAM CELEBRATES 69TH REPUBLIC DAY WITH PATRIOTIC PRESIDIANS
On the occasion of Nation’s Republic Day, students of Presidium 57 celebrated their true patriotic spirit along with our honorable chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. A special assembly was organized in which they reminisced and honored the golden heritage of our country and hoisted the national flag with patriotic fervour. Sudha Mam encouraged students to learn how our country needs educational, economic & legal reforms and the youth has the power of bringing the perfect revolutions for nation building. As they say, ‘patriotism is the virtue of the vicious’ likewise Presidium believes in inculcating such qualities among students to build a better nation.
CITATION CEREMONY SHOWERS BLESSINGS ON OUR 1ST OUTGOING BATCH
As our first outgoing batch of grade 12 students is ready to spread their wings and fly out to meet the challenges of the world, Presidium Gurgaon 57 recently organized a citation ceremony for them. This event was graced by Presidium's honourable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, who showered the students with her choicest blessings and good wishes. The event was also attended by parents of grade 12 students, staff members and other senior students. Each child was awarded a personalized citation in recognition of his/her talent and achievements in school. The ceremony was culminated with the teachers’ blessings and with the rendition of the school song and posing for countless photographs to preserve the memories of these special school moments. Overall the event was an engaging mix of entertainment, solemnity and inspiration!
