Devansh Sharma, a student of grade 8, represented Gurgaon district in Sub-junior (under 14) boys roller Hockey in the Haryana State Championship held recently at Kurukshetra. The team won Silver and is now selected to play nationals representing Haryana. Nationals will be held at Chandigarh soon.

Extempore is the art of public speaking that is carried out without preparation or forethought. It puts to test one's ability to think on the spot and also enhances communication. An Inter-class Extempore Competition was held at Presidium school for Grade 12 students. Participation was mandatory for all. Students were asked to speak on the given topic for a minute. The topics in the competition were associated with current issues like Covid 19, unemployment, poverty, globalization, Computers, etc. Students were judged based on the relevance of content, fluency, pronunciation, and confidence. All the students participated enthusiastically.

So the spirit of Holi teaches students to follow good conduct in life and believe in the virtue of being truthful and honest. The most colorful and vibrant festival of India - Holi, was celebrated with a splash of colors through a virtual platform in classrooms. The atmosphere was marked with fun and fervor as grade 2 students celebrated this vibrant festival. The festival marks the end of winter and the abundance of the upcoming spring harvest season. The students welcomed spring, the season of hope, with songs, dance, and bright colors. These bright colors are believed to signify energy, life, and joy.

Held on 22 March every year since 1993, World Water Day focuses on the importance of freshwater. This year's theme is about what water means to people, it's true value, and how we can better protect this vital resource. The value of water is much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, culture, health, education, economics, and the integrity of our natural environment. If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource. With 70% of our earth being ocean water and 65% of our bodies being made up of water, it is hard not to be aware of how important it is in our lives. This simple fact is why scientists are constantly looking for water on other planets - the presence of water could indicate the presence of life. Grade 3 students celebrated World Water Day by giving presentations sharing properties of water, doing experiments, and explaining them in class.

.One of the most important actions for World Theatre Day is the dissemination of the international message through which world-class figures share their thoughts on Theatre, Culture, and Peace. Its history merges with the origins of language itself, and its various forms of expression reflect our cultural diversity. In the initial phase of education, every child needs engaging and fun ways to learn. They pick up many of the basic but important life lessons during this phase of their life. Kids love to mimic adults, and in the process, they learn about life, and role-playing activities help them to do just that. These fun activities can foster the imagination and creativity of kids and also inculcate core lessons for life and help them excel into bright young students in school. In Presidium school, the children of Primary grades also took part in the Roleplay competition and dedicated their heart and soul in every aspect.

Ever since those early flights of fancy, very few actually give their career choice a serious thought. The choice of the stream (subject) directly affects the career. For example, one will not become a lawyer by choosing Science Stream, and similarly, one cannot become a Medical Practitioner by selecting Arts Stream. The webinar helped the students accumulate the skills and knowledge that Marks are, no doubt, a reflection of one’s capabilities, but they should not be the sole reason for choosing a stream. It is the orientation style, interest, personality, subject proficiency, and emotional intelligence that should be the essential key factors before we go for stream selection.

Healthcare professionals often risk their health and sacrifice quality of life in the line of duty - this can be witnessed during this time of Corona Pandemic. Students of grade 3E had conducted a special online assembly to show their gratitude and salute these front-line Covid -19 warriors. They presented a skit to create awareness among students, not to take this unlock period lightly, and sent messages to stay home and help healthcare workers in reducing their workload. They gave tribute to them by performing on the song- Teri Mitti. Many students acknowledged and showed obeisance to all the healthcare staff.
