Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, Basant Panchami marks the beginning of the Spring season in India. Keeping the tradition alive, students of grades III- B celebrated Basant Panchami with enthusiasm. The assembly started with the singing of the spiritual song - ‘Hey Sharde Maa’ followed by news and thoughts of the day. Students, along with the class teacher, sought blessings from Goddess Saraswati. The spring of joy took over when students narrated a story ‘Birth of Maa Saraswati’, highlighting the significance of the festival. The students truly enjoyed the assembly and enthusiastically shared the joy of festivity by singing songs, poem recitations, sharing thoughts with everyone. The class teacher apprised students about the significance of the day and glorified the magnificence of Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of knowledge and wisdom.
