Raksha Bandhan in Sanskrit means ‘the tie or knot of protection,’ it is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brother and sister. To strengthen this bond, Presidium conducted a ‘Rakhi making/thali making’ activity. Students from all the classes participated in the activity and made colorful rakhis and thalis. They used decorative materials like threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, and flowers for making beautiful rakhis and thalis. Students made it from the material available at home to give it a personal touch. Presidium believes that such celebration of festivals with true spirit teaches students about our Indian traditions. Every student was so excited to share their creativity with their friends and teachers. This activity gave the students a chance to embrace their tradition as well as their artistic side.
