‘Food is life, cooking is fun! Combine the two and we are sure to discover that it is very easy to prepare a meal for oneself’.
To make children familiar about cooking without lighting a fire, young learners from grade Prep tried their hands on cooking without fire. They discovered that cooking can be creative, easy and a safe experience. The students were bifurcated in their respective clubs and our budding chefs made various food items like fruit salad, sandwich, sprouts, bhel puri, papri chat and few refreshing drinks such as lemonade and mocktails which are energising and fortifying during the scorching heat. The activity was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire, prepared with great ease independently. The event not only provided a platform for the students to enhance their creativity and decision making skills but also helped them to explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
