A special assembly on ‘International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women’ was conducted by Grade 11-A where the students presented a mélange of thoughts, ideas, and expressions. The assembly was based upon encouraging the mindset in the audience for the need to change their thinking and respect and protect women. The assembly commenced with the morning prayers. The students highlighted the issues faced by women through songs, speeches, and recitations. Through the performances, the women were motivated to break the silence as the time for complacency was long gone. The assembly came to its finale with the students delivering a vote of thanks to their mentors. The virtual assembly was truly mesmerizing and undoubtedly a result of the immense efforts put together by the students.
