CELEBRATING STUDENT EXCELLENCE AT CHAIRPERSON HONOURS
Each of us was born with wings and we have the ability to go farther than we ever thought possible!
With this belief, Presidium honoured the flight of achievement of its student achievers at the Chairperson Honours ceremony. The event is a deeply valued tradition envisioned by the Hon’ble Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, a visionary and an educationist par excellence.
The event saw more than 700 Presidians being honoured and awarded for their talent and excellence in various fields of academics, sports and co-curricular. The Chairperson acknowledged, awarded and congratulated the students for their sincere efforts in living up to the motto of the school-be what they want to be.
Seeing their wards being recognised and acknowledged for their hard work and efforts; Parents were filled with a great sense of pride.
CROWNING THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW AT INVESTITURE CEREMONY
The Investiture Ceremony, 2017-18 , witnessed young Presidians being honoured with prestigious positions in the school’s Student Council by the Hon’ble Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta and the Presidium family. She congratulated and inspired the students, teachers and the parents on the joyous occasion and extended warm wishes to the students for a bright year ahead. A motivational dance performance and an inspirational choir presentation was appreciated by one and all present. At the ceremony, some of the coveted titles bestowed upon the students were - School Head Girl, Head Boy, Cultural Head, Sports Head, President Social Cause, Club Presidents and their respective councils. The students were felicitated for their respective titles and thus giving learning and leadership opportunities at a young age. Student Council delegates received the new roles and responsibilities with proud and dignity. The council members took an oath that will instil confidence in their intentions and capabilities. The prestigious event was culminated by the school song and a vote of thanks proposed by the Head Boy & Head Girl.
PRESIDIANS CLAIM 14 MEDALS AT THE STATE LEVEL DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Presidium Gurgaon’s masters of debate and reasoned expression have won the Inter School BEHES Debate championship. They have qualified for national level Finals. Their intellect, reasoning and quick-witted replies gave them a well deserved win.
More than 200 students from schools all over Delhi, participated in the championship and Presidians outshined them and won a total of 14 medals-6 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze. They proudly claimed the Championship Gold trophy and the Overall Best Speaker trophy.
The winners are:
1. Prarthita Nath of Grade XII, won a Gold medal, the Overall Best speaker trophy and her team won the Championship trophy.
2. Nuti Yadav, from Grade XII, won Gold medal and her team won the Championship trophy.
3. Kshirin Rao, from Grade XII, won a Silver medal and her team won the Championship trophy;
4. Naisha Kamboj, from Grade VIII, won Gold medal.
5. Arahant Vishnu Saini, from Grade VII, won a Gold medal.
6. Ayush Rahul Savdekar, from Grade VI, won a Gold medal.
7. Raghav Sharma, from Grade IV, won a Gold medal.
8. Laiba Rahman, from Grade XI, won a Silver medal.
9. Joeell Singh, from Grade IX, won a Silver medal.
10. Bhavika Gupta, from Grade VIII, won a Silver medal.
11. Ria Bhargava, from Grade VII, won a Silver medal.
12. Pari Shukla, from Grade VII, won a Bronze medal.
13. Megha Chauhan, from Grade XII, won a Bronze medal.
14. Aakriti Sidhu, from Grade IX, won a Bronze medal.
15. Prisha Sinha, from Grade VII, won a Bronze medal.

BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: GIRL POWER LIFTS RUNNERS-UP TROPHY
Presidians showcased an extra-ordinary display of sportsmanship in Badminton Tournament. The opportunity was given to the students so that they could explore their sporty side. Girl power became the highlight of the event as they bagged the trophy in their kitty by gaining a huge round of applause. Believing in the overall development of a child, Presidium aligns with the idea of creating ‘leaders of tomorrow’.
MS. RAGINI CHANDRASHEKHAR'S MESMERISING PERFORMANCE ON DANCE DAY
'To dance is to be yourself, be larger, more beautiful and more powerful. This power is the glory on Earth that is yours for the taking.'
With this beautiful thought in mind, World Dance Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Presidium Gurgaon 57. Students got a wonderful opportunity to witness the captivating Bharatanatyam performance by the eminent dancer, Smt. Ragini Chandrashekhar. With her mesmerising and enthralling dance Mudras, she stole the hearts of young Presidians and made them develop a sense of respect for dance. She also enlightened them on the most diversified dance forms of our culture.
The celebration proved to be a learning experience for students as they gained an insight on the wonders and marvels of Indian culture which celebrates art in all of its forms
PRESIDIANS FROM GURGAON 57 DISCOVER HUMANITY AT SPARSH
Somebody has aptly said, ‘To be a good leader is to be a good human being first, who does good to others and the world'. With such thoughts in mind, Presidians visited Sparsh Special School.
As Presidians stepped in the premises of Sparsh Special School they were given warm welcome by the special children through their big and vibrant smiles that truly made their day.
Presidians spent some quality time with their friends from Sparsh in their class rooms, activity centre & vocational work stations. Seeing the determination and will of these children, Presidians were filled with deep respect and regard for them. Sparsh students' energy level & positive aura mesmerised our young Presidians.
The entire experience was extremely fruitful for everyone and Presidians realised that in God's world, 'Every child is a different kind of flower and altogether they make the world a beautiful garden'.
AMBASSADORS OF NATURE PLEDGE TO PRESERVE MOTHER EARTH
People from all over the world celebrate Earth day with great enthusiasm and interest on each 22nd of April since 1970 to raise awareness about saving save the natural assets of planet earth.
With this belief, Presidium Gurgaon 57 celebrated Earth Week. The environmental campaign was an awareness drive in which 150 saplings were planted. The message was to help and protect our environment and build future conservation leaders. They took a pledge to preserve and protect what Mother Earth has given us.
PRESIDIUM’S ART EXHIBITION CELEBRATES BUDDING ARTISTS
Inaugurated by renowned cricketer Gautam Gambhir, the art exhibition began this morning with a lot of excitement at Presidium Gurgaon 57. The sports star was delighted to be a part of the event and boosted the confidence of the students with his words of appreciation and encouragement. Packed with boundless creativity and talent, our young Presidians have always proved themselves to be budding artists and this event showcased their work to the world. Beautifully mounted and displayed at the exhibition, the masterpieces of our talented Presidians garnered flattering compliments from the onlookers.
GAMBHIR INAUGURATES CRICKET COACHING AT PRESIDIUM, GURGAON
Presidium Gurgaon witnessed the launch of Eden Cricket Academy on 25th March ’17. The academy was inaugurated by the star cricketer of India, Gautam Gambhir who met the young players of Presidium and appreciated their zeal and passion for the game and wished them all the best for the future. The students who join the academy will be trained by Vijay Dahiya, former Indian player and Manvinder Bisla, IPL player. We hope to see Eden Cricket groom young Presidians into future cricket champions.
INCREDIBLE TRIP TO THE VIBRANT CITY OF AMRITSAR
An educational trip to Amritsar was organised for the students of grade 5. It was a 2 days and 1-night trip. The students were highly excited and enthusiastic about their visit to Amritsar. The students reached the 5-star hotel ‘Holiday Inn' and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. They were left stunned to know the brutality shown by General Dyer and how his troops fired on the crowd at the Jallianwala bag. At Wagah border, they witnessed the lowering of the flags ceremony of India and Pakistan. It is an alternatively a symbol of the two countries’ rivalry as well as brotherhood and cooperation between two nations. The fun-filled day ended with a lip-smacking dinner and a luxury stay in the hotel. The second day began with a visit to ‘The Golden Temple’ the holy gurdwara of Sikhs, where men and women from all walks of life and all the religions worship God equally. The students invoked blessings from God and enjoyed the prasad. They cherished the shopping time at the local market. It was an enlightening and amazing experience for the students.
