World Hindi Day is celebrated every year on January 10. Hindi is not only the country’s most-spoken language, but it is the third most-spoken language in the world with 615 million speakers after English, Mandarin, according to the UN. To enlighten students of the importance of our official language and help them in understanding the rich lingual culture of the country, a special assembly was conducted. In the virtual assembly of grade 5E, the students were beautifully dressed in ethnic wear with their beaming faces. They gave beautiful performances like poems, sharings, and a song too. The aim of the assembly was to raise awareness about the Hindi language. Being one of the most popular languages in the world, there is a huge interest among students from across the globe to pursue a career in the Hindi language.
